7/14/2009 - Holy Smokes.. I Actually Won Something!

This was a total shocker. I never win anything... ever.

Well, today was my lucky day when I discovered that I was one of the 30 grand prize winners of a NewEgg.com flash drive giveaway contest.

I figured I had nothing to lose, since I am already on their daily deals email list.

David also brought in bagels to work today for his birthday. I hope the rest of the day goes this well.

7/31/09 Update.. I finally received this little beauty packing 8GB of storage. It is a welcome update to the 2GB Verbatim flash drive I have been carrying around with me the last 2.5 years.

7/2/2009 - The Newly Redesigned MPTV.org Launched Today

I have been working on this site for the past couple of months. I was the lead application developer for the newly redesigned MPTV.org site. There is very little static content on the site, as it dynamically populates each page from the information stored in the database tables. We created over a dozen different content management tools that make this all possible.

This beautiful site was designed by David. I want to to toss out a big thank you to Matt for taking the app dev reigns for me while I was neck deep in a few other urgent projects these past few weeks. Brent did a great job of handling all the project management/organization duties for this very demanding site.

6/27/2009 - Flight of the Valkyries III - Female Fronted Metal Festival

I was asked to photograph the 3rd installment of the Flight of the Valkyries metal festival that was held this past weekend in St. Paul, MN.

Benedictum headlined the 8 band festival. I will be adding each band to my photo gallery as they become available. I discovered two great bands... Todesbonden and ADD.

6/11/2009 - WiszdomStone.com is Live!

I am proud to announce that WiszdomStone.com launched on June 11th. Their first full length CD entitled "Rise" was released online and in stores last week. Ray Luokka and I were able to get things finalized and launched just in time for their CD Release Party on June 13th.

I attended their release party, promoted the new site, and took some nice pics of Mike Stone's acoustic performance that can be seen in the Photo Gallery sections of WiszdomStone.com and NormGlomski.com.

The WS site offers photos, video, and a 1 minute samples of each track on the album. All the reviews for Rise thus far have been incredibly positive... and a clean, professional looking site to match their CD can do nothing but catapult WiszdomStone towards success.

5/18/2009 - Site Launch

The NormGlomski.com site has gone live.

Plenty of content still needs to be written, but the website engine has been built and is running smoothly.

5/9/2009 - Chicago Pagan/Powerfest 2009

I was asked to be the "Official Powerfest Photographer" for the second year in a row. This involved shooting 24 bands over a 3 day span.

The promoters of Chicago Powerfest describe it as "An annual weekend festival of unrelenting METAL...featuring internationally-known and up-and-coming bands spanning various styles/sub-genres of metal with one common goal - to give fans a show they won't soon forget!!"
